Can you lose weight with hypothyroidism? Yes, but it sure is a bumpy road. Doctors diagnosed me with hypothyroidism in early 2018. Like many with the disease, I was exhausted and always wondering, why am I gaining weight? I barely ate, I worked out a lot, and yet the pounds kept piling on.
I looked everywhere for answers to the questions I was asking, but couldn’t find anyone documenting their experience. Navigating the doctor’s office was a nightmare because I didn’t know where to start. So I’m creating the place for other people to start from. I want this to be a resource for everyone with the disease, whether you’re starting out on your journey or dealing with hiccups in the prescription that’s been working for years.
